Notice that there will be a VICTORY celebration of the community Paramour 40 days of prayer to reduce crime
this Sunday at 4:00PM at Paramour Park.....just a short way from the Cathedral...we will send directions this week. We will be the fourth VICTORY prayer sometime after 4:30pm. All are invited to show our support to the police and our neighbors just next door to our community. The mayor and dignitaries will begin the ceremony at approximately 4:00pm. All of the Bishops have arrived safely, attended Mass this morning and were treated to a wonderful breakfast. Now they are off to the hotel to start the meetings. The Bishops wil be attending meeting through Wednesday. The DEUS Synod starts Thursday.

Bishop Lou visited Harriet on Monday, May 7 in the hospital and she was not doing so well & having trouble breathing.

Eudora and Jane visited Harriet on Friday and she was doing just OK and is moving to an assisted living situation. She will be added to the
Cathedral schedule for home communions on a regular basis.

The Cathedral of the Incarnation, located in College Park, will initiate The Cathedral Arts Series and Artist in Residence Program this spring. The program will promote worthy artists from throughout Central Florida in a seasonal series for the entire Orlando community. The series will begin with at least four varied events such as Jazz, Classical Music, Mixed Media Art Exhibits, and Dance Events.

Terry our Choir Director has scheduled a one-of-a-kind weekend for the men (and sons ages 10 and up) of the Cathedral. Retired Navy Capt. Alfred Maria Koster IV was a military man through and through.

He was deployed on submarines around the world, worked in intelligence and special operations, commanded the ROTC unit at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and led the Recruit Training Command at the Orlando Naval Training Center.

"He just fought for his country," said Koster's daughter Susan Barnes of London, England. "He believed in what was right and what was moral and just."

instrumental ensemble for a pre-service concert
featuring excerpts from Handel’s Messiah, John Rutter
and David Willcocks carol settings, and organ music by
Louis-Claude D’Aquin. Following the concert is a
Midnight Mass of the Nativity, including choral and
organ/instrumental music to usher in the Christmas
season with beautiful, historic liturgy using the 1928
Book of Common Prayer.

Mark your calendars for of a wonderful night of entertainment on November 10th at 7 pm. St, Joseph's Men's Club will be hosting The Orange Blossom Chorus chapter of the Barbershop Harmony Society. The chorus has entertained us several times in the past at our diocesan synod. Those of us who have children consider ourselves fantastic parents. After all, we are here at the Cathedral!

However this ministry of “Raising A Modern-Day Knight” is not just another activity for you to pledge your time, talents and money to the church. It is, as the Bishop says, an opportunity to be the church. If successful, we will host this series two or three times each year. You should know that no other church in the Orlando Metro area is offering this series, giving us exclusivity.

you that parishioner Nancy Renninger has passed on
9/8/06. At her request Bishop Campese will have a
Memorial Service at the Cathedral on Friday, September
29 at 12 noon. Her husband Don and Nancy lived in
Jacksonville, but did attend at the Cathedral until
they got ill last year. Please pray for the Renninger
